ANNAS DOLLHOUSE is a new compositional
masterpiece by Danish jazz star Benjamin
Koppel. Featuring former Blue Note recording artist
Caecilie Norby and jazz legends Kenny Werner and Peter
Erskine, ANNAS DOLLHOUSE tells the story about
Anna, the aunt of renowned saxophoneplayer and composer
Benjamin Koppel.
Through nine songs her life through almost a century is
depicted in beautiful lyrics and breathtaking music. A
string orchestra, arranged by Benjamins father Anders
Koppel, adds to the Joni Mitchell-esque vibe of the sound,
and the powerful solos from some of the strongest figures
on international jazz scenes.
